The
Shippan Designer Show House, which benefited
The Stamford Museum & Nature Center was
held in Fall of 2010. Guests enjoyed over twenty designed
spaces which were created by area designers and decorators.
The house is a beautiful 9,000 square-foot villa with views
of the Sound, built in 1922. From the front steps, facing
the water, there is an amazing expanse of sky and air. A distinctive
feature will be a greenhouse in the side yard. Guests were
also invited to attend talks presented by the featured designers.
The
Show House was located at 422 Ocean Drive West in Stamford,
CT.
Stamford
Museum & Nature Center is a non-profit organization dedicated
to the preservation and interpretation of art, the natural
and agricultural sciences, and history. The Museum is a vital
