For
twenty years, Linda Heinzelman has been known for her intelligent
designs, which emphasize strong, clean lines that blur the boundaries
between traditional and modern. Her design philosophy features a
refined use of materials, especially antiques from different periods,
sophisticated color, and strong signature pieces. She creates timeless
interiors that will look great now, and in the future.
As
a designer, Linda considers the most important aspect of her job
to be marrying the site to the expectations of the client. When
she begins a project, she starts by standing in the room, and visualizes
exactly how it will be used. She believes that a beautiful room
that is never used, has not been designed correctly.
Linda
Heinzelman studied at the Parsons School of Design and started her
career in her native New York City. She now maintains offices in
both New York City and Westport, Connecticut, to service clients
in both states.
Linda
Heinzelman’s versatility is shown in her extensive project
list which includes jobs as diverse as elegant New York apartments,
to expansive family homes, beach houses in the Hamptons, executive
offices, and small hotels. Linda explores the flea markets of Paris
twice a year, looking for unique pieces to offer her clients.
Linda's
work has been featured in Home and Garden, W Magazine, Westport
Magazine, and WRG Homes. She is also a contributor to both local
and national articles about design trends. |
