JB Moving Systems provides their customers with a service called Home Configuration. This service will help facilitate your move with advance planning.

Depending on which option you choose, JB will provide you a system to label/tag all the items you wish to move, a floor plan of your new home and grid placards which help our movers by delineating where you want your furniture placed.

The options are as follows:

OPTION A

- A JB Survey Specialist will walk you through the system of planning your move.

• How to label your rooms, furniture and boxes.

• How to measure your major pieces of furniture.

• How to measure the size of each room in your new home that furniture or boxes will be placed.

• How to complete the grid placards showing where the furniture will placed in your new home.

• The specialist will also advise you on how to judge if your furniture will fit where you want to place it. Even more importantly, the specialist will tell you if your furniture can be brought into your home or down to the basement. Size variances and restrictions such as, corner abutments that might not allow furniture to make a turn, or a doorway that it is too small- anything that may need special work- he or she will advise you on.

OPTION B

- This option provides a more complete service:

• The specialist will walk you through how to label furniture and boxes.

• The specialist will help you to measure all your major pieces of furniture.

• The specialist will provide a list of your furniture along with the measurements.

• The specialist will rough-out a complete floor plan of your new home where furniture will be placed.

• The specialist will help you measure all the rooms of your new home where furniture will be placed.

• The specialist will complete one grid placard for you - the room of your choice.

OPTION C

- This option is the most fine tuned:

The specialist will provide all services in Option B, take all the information back to our office and send, or deliver to you a neat floor plan, a typed placement sheet with furniture measurements, and a clean copy of the grid placard you chose to have made. If you wish JB to provide other grid placards for you, we will !
